February 2007

Divecon, a provider of subsea construction and commercial diving services to the oil and gas industry, announced it has completed the construction of its Gulf of Mexico headquarters in Broussard, LA. The facility is comprised of approximately 15,000 square feet of office and warehouse space and includes a 1-acre storage and fabrication yard. This facility is centrally located to support the GOM region and is located at 231 Highway 96, Broussard, LA. The GOM facility staff includes a highly experienced group of Project Managers, Safety Personnel, Sales and Marketing Team, Equipment Technicians, and Administrative support.
 
 

August 2006

Divecon announces that it has secured a 4 – 6 month contract with a major oil and gas company in the Gulf of Mexico to perform pipeline and platform repair work. The work will be performed from the M/V Ocean Veritas, a 195-foot long 4-Point Anchor Vessel that Divecon has retained under a long-term charter agreement.

June 2006

Divecon purchased a 4 man Reneau Saturation Diving System rated for 650 fsw. The diving system has a bell, control van and main double lock chamber. Divecon will update and refurbish the entire system to make it state of the art. This process should be completed during the second quarter of 2007.
