Charles (Chuck) S. Ebner

Mr. Ebner comes to Divecon Services with 27 years of diverse experience in the commercial diving and marine construction industries. As the founder of Underwater Technology Services (UTS) in May of 2000, he served as President and CEO, and later was a key individual during the merger of Divecon Services and UTS. The balance of Mr. Ebner's experience comes from his employment with Oceaneering International, Inc.. Early in his 20 year career with Oceaneering he held the field positions of Tender, Diver, Supervisor and Manned Submersible Operator. Later in management he held the positions of Shop, Operations, Regional and Sector General Manager of Oceaneering's Marine Engineering & Construction Division located in Ventura, CA.. Mr. Ebner has obtained experience in all facets of commercial diving including all forms of conventional, remote and atmospheric diving, vessels and various marine construction operations on the east, west and gulf coasts of the United States and many inland sites. Mr. Ebner holds a certificate in Marine Technology and Lloyds of London certification for Manned Submersible Operations. He additionally has formal training and holds certificates for Human Resources, proposal writing, explosives handling, Lister Diesel mechanics, Emergency Medical Technician and numerous software applications. He has formerly served as Chairman for the Western Chapter of the Association of Diving Contractors International and has been involved over 15 years as a Technical Advisory Board Member for various commercial diving schools.
